Our History
Where we began...
Over the years, efforts to eliminate gender disparities and achieve health equity have focused primarily on diseases or illnesses and on health care services. However, the absence of disease does not automatically equate to good health. Disparities occur more so in health, education, opportunity, well-being, chance to succeed. Hope inspires people to do better and to give hope to others may be all that is needed to improve the situation they are in.

defines a health disparity as “a particular type of health difference that is closely linked with social, economic, and/or environmental disadvantage. Health disparities adversely affect groups of people who have systematically experienced greater obstacles to health based on their racial or ethnic group; religion; socioeconomic status; gender; age; mental health; cognitive, sensory, or physical disability; sexual orientation or gender identity; geographical location; or other characteristics historically linked to discrimination or exclusion.

the notion that we are different for reasons that vary, but inspiring hope can make the difference to drive addressing disparities in health, education, shelter, internet access, energy, economic opportunities, overall quality of life. Inspire Hope Foundation’s goal is overcoming challenges and improving the wellbeing of vulnerable populations across the globe. We are a 501(c)(3) organization registered in the United States of America.
