Visit to Nwachi Orphanage Home
On November 16th 2021, a one day Workshop Program themed Awareness of Gender-based Violence for Children was held by the Inspire Hope Foundation Outreach Team at Nwachi Orphanage Home in FHA Lugbe Airport Road, Abuja.
EVENT DETAILS
Everyone at Nwachi Orphanage Home was excited upon our arrival,
including the Principal and Proprietor, who were both present at the Seminar.
The team from Inspire Hope Foundation Inc was led by Richard Nze Onyewuchi and some volunteers. We received a warm welcome song from the children and management of the Orphanage Home. After which we commenced the Seminar by first having some physical exercise with the children. This was carried out by one of the team members who specializes in fitness training. After the exercise, a 15mins break was given to the children to organize for the lecture ahead.
A goodwill message from Dr. Chinyere Anyaogu was transmitted to the Nwachi Home by Mr. Richard Nze after which a lecture was held by Ms. Judy who highlighted the effects and causes of domestic violence on children. She also led the children in an interactive question and answer session.
Also, a practical theory of how gender-based violence can affect and negatively react to children was smoothly exercised in that present day. Gifts were given to those who answered the right questions and at the end of the lecture the children of Nwachi homes had refreshments and were given palliative items with a closing remark made by Onyewuchi Nze Richard.
